I’ve had it in my mind to start this blog for some time.  I keep thinking of reasons to start it and then talk myself out of it for one reason or another.  There’s lots of reasons not to put yourself out there on the Internet – trust me, as a cybersecurity professional, I fully understand them.  However, I think the majority of the reasons I haven’t followed through could be categorized in simple irrational fears. 

So here goes.

First, I’ve always been fascinated by personal finance and most recently that has been increasingly focused on retirement.

Second, I love cybersecurity, which inherently means I don’t care much for the people who try to take advantage of others.

This blog is my attempt to cover these different passions in as much depth as I have time.
